Words and Music
I write stories and songs.
The songs part began long ago. I started performing at age 7 in the Second Grade at the North Plains Elementary Talent Show. My brother, Bud, played guitar and I sang “Heart Break Hotel.” As a Soprano. I began playing guitar and performing informally shortly thereafter. Around the age of 11 or 12 my brother George told me playing and singing was a good way to get girls. My career as a musician performer was born. For the record . . . I no longer do this as a way to get girls.
My most recent work is on this site. 14-song album entitled “Touched.” And an EP from a few years ago, “Drake Blake Returns.”
My efforts as a writer began about five years ago. Story called “Touched.” About an intense, enduring love, free will, empathy and the Multiverse. Peopled with Jews, Nazis and Angels.
The novel is finished and I’m in search of an agent. So — Calling all agents!
I’ll be publishing the novel serially here.
